Impersonation

Messages saying act now, your account is locked, or double your money are classic scam signs. Slow down and verify.

Pressure tactics

Connecting a wallet to a site can grant it permission to move your tokens. Review and revoke approvals you do not recognize.

Token approval

Move any remaining funds to a new wallet, revoke approvals, record transaction details, and report to the platform and the authorities. Beware of recovery scams that promise to get funds back for a fee.
